Day 150....Lipstick from MO to FLA...

Got the pics of my girl early today!  She is wearing her favorite Bidi Bidi Bom Bom by M.A.C Selena.  I have on the Ellen Tracy lipgloss over the M.A.C lipliner in Rosy Rim.

I did wear this all day long and should have taken my photo earlier because this one is horrible. I was working in the yard today and got something in my eye and it is a mess.  Oh, well. I did say we were doing this no matter how we look or feel. I hope it gets better by tomorrow.

149: Memorial Day

Today was a nice quiet day getting caught up with home things and taking it easy. Topped it of with some beautiful dinosaur kale from the Nashville Farmers Market that made up a good part of our dinner. The green makes a nice backdrop for the Passionate red by Loreal.

I do not have anything yet for today or yesterday from Mia in Florida but will post them on the respective dates when I do, and reshare the posts. 

My sincere thoughts are with anyone who has lost someone or a part of their life in the armed services while out there fighting for the freedoms I have and sometimes take for granted. Freedom is priceless but it definitely does not happen for free.

Day 148: Solo

I do not have Mia's yet but here are my grainy photos! I am doing the same again as yesterday because that is all I have with me. Candyland Lip Balm in Ice Cream Floats with an overlay of Bobbi Brown blush in Coral. It is beautiful in the light and long lasting.

Will post Mia's when I have them.

Day 147: Feeling lost without my girl....

It is Saturday night and I am many miles apart from my counterpart in this lipstick challenge but that is not stopping us.   Happy to say she made it to Florida safely with her dad AND she sent me the pic we took today en route plus her lipstick photos.  Thanks Kid!! 

I have on the Candyland lip balm in Ice Cream Floats with a brushing of Bobbi Brown's blush in Coral. (Sorry, no product pics of that today)

Mia has on the East End Snob liner with the Tarte Lip Crayon (rust colored). Good peachy neutrals on us, if I do say so myself.

For those of you who don't know, we have had to spend our summers apart for many years now. While it is still very hard to handle, it is easier than it used to be.  When she was a baby, I started saying a silent little prayer poem to her as she went away and it goes like this...through tears of course...

"I love you, I love you...with all my heart.  Near or far, wherever you are, we'll never be apart. The sky may fall, the winds will blow, but my love is with you always, wherever you may go."

Mia:  Mommy loves you!!  Keep sending those pics!  Don't forget!  I will send lipstick rations as they become available...

Day 146: Summer is here...

Today is the last day with my girl till the beginning of August. This is a hard day but we had a good one. AND I know she is going to keep up with the lipstick challenge because I am!

Today we tried something different: we both used the Candyland lip balm in Ice Cream Floats dabbed with different blushes. Mia used Bobbi Brown's Coral and I had on Clinique's New Clover.

We had a great day today--we started the day with a trip to the eye Dr for Mia followed by an afternoon st-roll to visit an elderly neighbor who has an ice cream parlor in living room...complete with a wet sink and refrigeration!! She is a very sweet little lady indeed and said last year all she ate was ice cream every day and did not gain a pound. She is tiny too!! 

On this first day of summer break, Mia has on Dreaming iof You by M.A.C Selena and I have on a Candyland lipbalm in Ice Cream Floats.

Day 144

Day 144 May 24 908 pm

Mia here! We are both winding down the day, and tomorrow officially starts summer break!! I have on Honeyed Bloom by Covergirl, and mom has on Nearly There by Maybelline. Both are fun colors (and a fun prop to match!)!

Day 143: Lunch & Lipstick with Friends...

We had guests for lunch today at Kimmswick--our friends Lisa and Adeline came out to see us and we had a nice little visit over soup and sandwiches.  

And nothing goes better with cold cuts than lipstick so here we are!  

Lisa has on a color called Rouge but I can't tell the brand.  Adeline has on a sparkly Maybelline Baby Lips called Crystal and Mia and I have on nude looking gloss but I can't read that either from this pic; I will have to get the tube and looking glass out and see if I can make heads or tails out of it.  Sorry for such and inconclusive post but don't we look cute anyway? Happy Girls!
