Day 18: Recap II

It is Day 18 of 365 Days of Lipstick and it is hard to believe the month is half over already.  I am a couple days late in posting last week's recap so here it is.

Last week was a bit harder.  I did not heat style my hair every day nor did Mia...but I am mostly her hair stylist anyway so that could explain things.  We did not go to the gym as often as I wanted to but the crappy weather did play a role.  However, the days we did go, we both had great workouts and I can tell Mia is really enjoying the benefits of going.  Even her Physical Therapist whom she has not seen in a couple months pulled me aside last night and commented that she can tell a big improvement in Mia's core strength so this is a HUGE deal because this is exactly what she needs to become more independently mobile on her own two feet.

The bus did have to wait on us a couple times BUT Mia did go out the door EVERYDAY with a healthy and well balanced lunch packed and the beds were made almost every day before 9 am.  One of the best things about last week though was the surprise visit by my baby sister Emily and her son Max.  I was so happy Em indulged in our lipstick challenge and that her son Max let me use his cars for props...although he wanted them back as soon as I had finished snapping the pic.  "I need my cars back Aunt Meme..."  Happy Days!

Week II Favorite colors:  Mia's was Shade 8 by Makeup Forever with an overlay of Clinique Berry Freeze. Mine was Think Bronze by Clinique.

Week II Longest wearing:  Mia's was Clinique's I'm Yours.  Mine was It's A Girl by Wet n Wild...I had to scrub to get it off at the end of the day!

Today Miss Mia pput on Glazed Sheer by Sebastian International with a Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lip liner called Jazzed.  I don't think it is going to win the longest wearing category because it came off with her breakfast so I tried to reapply it as she was walking out the door but it is probably ten years old or so and should be called Almost Dead...

I have on Revlon's Mauvy Night.  A very nice plum.  Same shirt again....oh well, it is one of my favorite Nashville finds and I don't care.   Sorry about the fuzzy pic!
