Day 8: Week I Recap

Well, Day 8 of 365 Days of Lipstick is here and we have made it through Week 1 with flying colors!1 There are only pros- no cons.  I have actually styled my hair every day with a heated device instead of just pulling it back like I have for the past almost 3 years.  Mia is getting up earlier for school and doing the same.  We have not yet been late for the bus and we have been to the gym 3 times this week and Mia is wanting to go back without me suggesting it. She has discovered a piece of equipment that is exactly what she needs and I can not be happier. We both have more confidence and this initiative is working like I had hoped.

As for the colors themselves: my favorite color was Stoplight Red and Mia's was Como La Flor. Longest wearing on me was Havana and Mia's was Goddess. I had to drag Mia out of bed for today's application but it is the weekend and she was up late.

She begins Week 2 with Salsa Lessons by Wet n Wild. I have on a color called Bellini by I am not sure...This stuff is pretty old and I hope my lips don't get a weird funk.  At any rate, I paired it with M.A.C's Naked lip liner and Sally Hansen's Lip Inflation in Sheer Blush.  I am not sure if my lips are fuller or not but it does not burn like some of the other plumpers I have used.  We took  pics with my mom in the background. She would like this too.
