Well, the weatherpeople were right, it was freezing this morning and going to stay this way the whole weekend apparently. As my guy Tom was preparing for his weekend helping with the St. Pat's Day Parade, he was packing and asked if I had seen his long underwear. Picturing white waffle fabric, I said no, I hadn't seen any come through the wash. He said he didn't know where they went but they were lightweight and black. My mind immediately went to the nicely fitting black workout pants I have been wearing around lately. This extremely comfy pair happens to be one of only three pair of pants I have left in total that don't have paint, caulk or stain on them so they get a lot of wear when I am not working on my rehab project, especially when I go to the gym or run errands. Anyway, I ran upstairs and reluctantly pulled them out of my drawer and showed them to him and he immediately identified them as his missing long underwear.
He asked if I had been wearing them for inner or outerwear and I told him I have been wearing them as pants for a while now and thought they were hand me downs from my friend Tena and I loved them. He couldn't believe I did this and wondered how I could not figure out they were long underwear, given the hole in the crotch. There is no hole in the crotch so I think it is an easy mistake to make. I am not convinced they are underwear but even if they are, I do plan on seeking my own pair of these comfy favorites out in the future but for now I have to raid Mia's drawers for a substitute, literally, as my new old favorites are hanging out on someone else's body once again. Oh well, in case anyone else is looking for extremely comfy and lightweight black pants- they are Champion so watch for them while you are out and about.
As for our daily challenge, Mia boarded the bus this morning wearing My Favorite by Nuance and I had on Pink Penny by Clinique. We are happy girls!!
Have a great Friday night, Everybody!!
